VOLAR and One Energy (HK) Limited signed an MoU to develop a BaaS model for batteries 

 Volar Aerospace Limited (“Volar”) and One Energy (HK) Limited (“One Energy”) have today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to co-develop a Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) model for advanced green aircraft battery technologies.  

 

One Energy is a one-stop solution provider of EV battery products and services. With indepth knowledge of swappable battery systems, One Energy services a comprehensive suite of vehicle types spanning electric motorcycles, drones, electric cars, electric aircrafts, and additionally provides other innovative applications for new energy.  

 

This MoU sets the direction to develop a proprietary and pioneering BaaS model for application in commercial electric aviation.  Volar and One Energy (HK) are of the view that there are synergistic benefits between their respective businesses and a superior outcome will result by combining their respective strengths.
