
About Volar Air Mobility
Volar Air Mobility Limited (“Volar”) is a Hong Kong-based green air mobility technology company founded in 2020 with a vision of pioneering Green Aviation.
Volar is developing the FIRST carbon-neutral air taxi service in the world leveraging the FIRST (to be) commercially approved electric multi-seater aircraft in the world, RX4E. The service will have the following key attributes: Safe, Affordable, Flexible on-demand convenience and carbon emission-free.
Volar is one of the co-founding members of the International Association for Green Aviation (IAGA), which aims to promote sustainable development of the aviation industry.
Volar is also currently actively supporting Volar AeroTech Limited (VAT) in establishing an Electric Vertical Takeoff and Landing (eVTOL) operator in the Greater Bay Area (GBA) of China, with its home base in Hong Kong. October 2019
The RX4E performs its first maiden flight in Shenyang. Type certification begins shortly after.
May 2021
Volar Air Mobility is founded and incorporated in Hong Kong.
September 2022
Volar signs an MoU with Selati in order to bring green aviation to Malaysia
February 2023
Volar signs an MoU with One Energy in order to develop the battery swapping infrastructure.
February 2023
Volar signs an MoU with ATAS to collaborate on joint operations in Indonesia.
April 2023
Volar and the Liaoning General Aviation Academy sign a distribution agreement, giving Volar rights to distribution of the RX4E.
October 2023
Expected completion date of the type certification of the RX4E in China.
April 2023
Volar signs an MoU with PT Solusi Pariwisata Inovatif and UniKL MIAT, furthering development in the ASEAN region.
Q2-Q3 2024
Expected completion of certification in Malaysia and Indonesia.

Director | Founder
Hooi Hing Lee
Mr. Hooi is a seasoned banker with more than 30+ years of experience.
Mr. Hooi held various roles in the banking industry, including the Chief Risk Officer for Standard Chartered Bank Taiwan, Managing Director for Cushman & Wakefield Capital Asia and Independent Non-Executive Director of Cityneon Holdings.
Mr. Hooi was the President of the Malaysian Chamber of Commerce & Industry in Taipei and is a Fellow of the Hong Kong Institute of Directors.

Ada Tse
Ada Tse is an experienced aviation professional with over 30 years experience in Hong Kong and the GBA area.
Ada was the Deputy Director General of the Asia-Pacific Region of the Airports Council International (ACI Asia-Pacific).
She also spent 13 years with AAHK, her last position was Assistant General Manager. She was involved in the management and business development of Zhuhai Airport under the joint venture agreement between AAHK and Zhuhai Municipal Government.

David C Lee, BBS., JP
Mr Lee is Chairman and Managing Director of DH Capital (HK) Limited. With over 40 years of experience in property and development, he has managed many major projects. He has served on serval governmental advisory committees and boards, offering advice on policies governing planning and development.
Mr Lee has also served as Chairman of the Hong Kong Housing Society, Member of the PolyU Council and Central Policy Unit (known as the Think Tank of the Government).

Voon Keat Lai
Mr. Lai was the managing partner of Stephenson Harwood in Greater China based in Hong Kong with a strong emphasis on international corporate finance, commercial contracts and technology practice.
Mr. Lai has broad experience in fundraising, acquisitions and disposal of assets and shares, joint ventures and securities law. Mr Lai is also involved in business technology practice and advises on commercial agreements and contracts involving software and website design and technology agreements.

Jimmy Chan Chun Ming
Mr. Chan is the CEO and founder of Maxsen Capital Group which provides investment management and advisory services. Prior to his role with Maxsen Group, he served as Chief Financial Officer for City e-Solutions Limited (00557.HK).
Mr. Chan has served in various management positions in Asia with Aareal Bank, Chase Manhattan Bank and First Pacific Bank. Mr. Chan was also Investment Director of HSBC NF China Fund and CEO of Maxwell China Commercial Real Estate Fund.
