Volar Air Mobility Limited (“Volar”) and National Aviation Group) (“NAG”) have today signed an collaboration to jointly promoted green aviation in Australia.

NAG is a general aviation company focused on providing air transportation, Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul (MRO) as well as pilot training in Australia.

Global aviation currently contributes 2.5% of the carbon emission annually. In line with the Australian government’s push for renewable energy and to reduce Australia’s emissions by 43% by 2030, the two parties have come together combining their expertise to introduce green aviation options into Australia.

The collaboration includes the introduction of electric aircraft and pioneering private aviation solutions that are potentially fossil fuel free. This will afford the Australian consumers a responsible option that minimizes the impact of global warming. Additionally, it is hoped that this option will also make a meaningful contribution to the Nation’s target of achieving carbon neutrality by 2050.
