Volar Air Mobility Limited (“Volar”) leads green aviation advocacy across Southeast Asia through presenting in prominent aviation forums.
Between February 19th to 23rd, Volar has partook in co-hosting and speaking in aviation forums across Malaysia, Indonesia, and Singapore. The principal motivations are to create awareness of the possibilities of green aviation, current developments in this pioneering space, and to encourage closer cooperation and alignment in response to the global push for green aviation initiatives.
These events featured speakers from prominent regional and international aviation institutions including, but not limited to, the National Aerospace Industry Corporation Malaysia (NAICO Malaysia), Institution of Engineers Indonesia (PII), Boeing, Embraer, and the International Association for Green Aviation (IAGA), etc. The participation of these institutions highlights the focus of industry players to promote sustainability within the aviation industry.
The VOLAR team, represented by Founding Chairman Henry Hooi, elaborated on the importance and opportunities enabled by embracing a green aviation option. It is hoped that Volar’s participation can have a positive impact on empowering and educating local communities to consider the societal merits of adopting and enabling a green aviation eco-system.
